Ward 4 in Washington DC

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  We will meet again on September 13th.  In July we co-hosted a meeting with Council Member Brandon Todd on the Chancellor and Deputy Mayor for Education Selection.  You can view the joint letter from the Ward 4 Ed Alliance and Council Member Todd in the Testimony and Letters section.

The Ward 4 Education Alliance brings together Ward 4 parents, students, educators, and community members to share information and advocate for continued improvement in the quality of education in Ward 4 DCPS schools.  We meet monthly during the school year in a different Ward 4 DCPS school.

Ward 4 is home to two high schools and the 13 DCPS schools that feed into them. There are also 4 dual language elementary schools from across the city that will have the right to attend the dual language track at MacFarland and then Roosevelt. They are Bancroft, Bruce Monroe, Cleveland and Tyler. Shepherd and Lafayette, located in Ward 4 feed into Deal and Wilson but are always welcome.
